Planting and Adopting Trees in Halimun Salak National Park

Otsuka Satu Hati on April 3, 2018 implementing a Corporate Social Responsibilty program in the environment of cultivation and adoption of 3000 trees located in Gunung Halimun Salak National Park, precisely located in the Village of Kutajaya – Sand Garuda Sukabumi District.

In its implementation PT Amerta Indah Otsuka cooperates with Gammelan Group (Association of Forest Conserving Groups) to maintain the growth of planted trees. Puspa trees and Rasamala trees become the choice to be planted in an area of 7 hectares because the tree can grow well in Mount Halimun Salak National Park.

Not only the adoption and planting of trees, on this occasion PT Amerta Indah Otsuka also handed over 25,000 trees to the Halimun Salak Mountain National Park which was the result of previous adoption of the tree program from 2012-2017. Over a period of 5 years the growth rate of these trees is very good reaches 99.2%.
