PT Amerta Indah Otsuka Reheld Daycare Program For Employee
Sukabumi, 13 December 2016 – PT Amerta Indah Otsuka held Daycare program before and after Eid Al-Fitr holiday. Carrying “I am clean, I am healthy, I am smart!” theme, this program aimed to give solution for problem faced by every employees when they are left for Idul Fitri by their household assistant. Daycare was also filled with various activities stimulating kids’ intelligence.
Daycare is one of provided facilities from company to bolster employees’ productivity in the middle of less conducive condition. More than that, Daycare held by PT Amerta Indah Otsuka also provides various activities and nonformal education for kids, such as gymnastic, planting, cooking, art activity, story telling and so on.
“We realize that employees are most essential part in this company, and for that, we always try to facilitate their needs. Daycare is one of our effort to help employees in playing two roles, as a parent and also a worker” said Pratiwi Juniarsih, Corporate Affair Director PT Amerta Indah Otsuka.
Not only education for children, one of activities brought in Daycare program that was also addressed to parents was Parenting Chit Chat. This parenting talkshow raised the theme of “Discipline Without Shouting” where parents were educated on how important disciplinary behavior instilling is, but without using forces or hard ways. Democratic, creative and positive are best ways to cultivate disciplinary behavior for kids to learn well.
“Educating children by applying negative consequences, exceedingly giving negative label to children tends to build negative self concept, sense of worthelessness and fear” explained dra. Diennaryati Tjokro M.Psi, psychologist being the speaker of Parenting Chit Chat in PT Amerta Indah Otsuka Daycare.
This year is the second year PT Amerta Indah Otsuka organizes Daycare. This childcare program is held in two locations, i.e. Head Office of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka in Jakarta and Manufactury of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka in Sukabumi with more or less 20 participants.
“We hope Daycare can give more benefits for employees and answer their problem in dividing their time for family needs and work, too, we hope Daycare can be attracting yet educating activity for children” closed Pratiwi.
