Today, Runners from Sabang to Merauke Participate in POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019
POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019 comes back to bring the best marathon experience in West Java. Runners from Sabang to Merauke and foreign runners also participated at this event.
Bandung, 28 July 2019 – Located at Gedung Sate, Bandung, the POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019 event was successfully held. Thousands of runners from various regions in Indonesia and foreigners participated in the prestigious event held by POCARI SWEAT.
Attending the event, Governor of West Java Mr. Mochamad Ridwan Kamil who will release the runners, and also marks the start of POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019. Also attending Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka Ricky Suhendar, Celebrity Runners Soraya Larasati and National Athlete Agus Prayogo.
POCARI SWEAT consistently held POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung for three consecutive years. The success of POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung can be seen from the enthusiasm of the community towards this event where the number of participants continues to increase every year. In 2017, there were 6,500 runners participating in this event and 8,000 runners in 2018. In 2019 the number of running participants reached up to 10,000 runners whose tickets were successfully sold within 45 minutes.

POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019 has 4 running categories that can be chosen by participants; 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon. This year also held POCARI SWEAT Virtual Run where the runners can participate by running in their respective cities or areas on the same date and time when the POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019 takes place. The special thing about this year’s event is the medal for finisher designed by the Governor of West Java, Mr. Mochamad Ridwan Kamil.

We also thank POCARI SWEAT who has chosen West Java as the host for three consecutive years. POCARI SWEAT Run Bandung 2019 also collaborates with the West Java Provincial Government, West Java Province Public Relations, BJB Bank, Men’s Biore, Toyota, Astralife, GO-LIFE, Garmin, Alfamart, Reebok, Joint Fit, Harris and Metro TV.
