CSR PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka is participating on developing Indonesian Social Welfare

PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka did greening along the River Luwuk Pacarkeling.  The program is carried out considering the importance of the river for people surround the river.  Conditions of the barren banks of the river is one of the causes of erosion and silting.  In this program, has planted 600 seeds of Sukun and Kluwih, which has chosen because these species has strong roots.  Besides that, Kluwih and Sukun trees are also have economic value that can support the economy of people surrounds.

PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka’s concerns towards Indonesia children’s education was recently realized with the inauguration of Madrasah Al Amin in Kutajaya Village, Cicurug Sukabumi district, in Kampung Pasir Tengah RT. 08 RW 03 on December 15, 2011.

The Madrasah Al Amin refurbishment work, which was on going for 30 work days, comprising of the refurbishment of classes, toilet facility, adding 20 set of study desk and chairs.  Amerta Otsuka Indah Ltd. is wishing that the refurbishment added to the enthusiasm of the students, the teachers at Madrasah Al Amin and the local community at Kutajaya village.

PT Amerta Indah Otsuka is committed to raise the bar on the Indonesian people’s welfare by providing Rumah Belajar Satu Hati Cerdaskan Bangsa that can be enjoyed by people who live nearby the factory’s premise. Rumah Belajar Satu Hati Cerdaskan Bangsa was inaugurated on 14th of October 2011 by PT Amerta Indah Otsuka’s President Director, Yoshihiro Bando, and the Head of Local, Suhartoyo.

PT. AIO Pasuruan shows concern to the Pasuruan citizens by providing scholarships for 10 less capable students and 9 excel students. PT. AIO also gives additional tutoring for 5 th grade elementary students. This program has been running from April 2011.

The paving block installment and development of bridge in Dusun Bawang, Pasuruan, has been inaugurated. The inauguration was attended by Subdistrict Head of Kejayan Drs. Suhartoyo, MM, Kapolsek Kejayan AKP Salim, Commander Koramil, Village Head, Public Figures and local residents.

PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka carried out clean act at Citepus Beach and also donated 250 units of trashcan. The trashcan was straightly handed over by President Director of PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka Mr. Yoshihiro Bando symbolically to Head of Sukabumi Regency Drs. H. Sukmawijaya, MM. at Citepus Beach, Sukabumi on April 19, 2011.

In order to facilitate road infrastructure for Pacarkeling Village community, we participated on improving the condition of Tumpang road, Pacarkeling Village, from dirt to paved road. Thus the community may feel more comfortable by the decent road condition. The formal ceremony was attended by Pacarkeling Village Government, local leaders, Regional Military Commander - Mr. Salusman, and Head of Pacarkeling Village - Mr. Munif AZ.

In order to improve healthy life behavior and clean environment in Pacarkeling Village, we provided free training for the village community regarding the appropriate and healthy use of public bathing, washing and toilet facilities. Other than participated by Pacarkeling Village community, local leaders and Posyandu officers, this training at PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka Training Center was also attended by the representative from Pasuruan Health Office, and Village Government. This training was carried out from January 18 to 30, 2011.

As our form of concern to the community who celebrate Idul Adha, we gave donation of 15 goats to be sacrificed.

As our commitment to the surrounding community, we gave a donation of Rp 15,930,000.00 that distributed to 87 poor people in Kuta Jaya Village, which located around the factory.

Working together with Benda Village officers, we also organized free clinic that accommodate about 300 persons at the village hall on July 24, 2010.

In social sector, we also participated in organizing Mass Circumcision event at Kuta Jaya Village office, which accommodate 68 children. In this event we gave a donation of Rp 34.000.000,00.

As our form of concern to the community of Pacarkeling Village, in the month of February to May 2010, we have committed improvement on the village road that connects Bawang Village and Luwuk Village. This participation is our form of responsibilities in facilitating the community life.

In order to preserve the forest area surrounding Winongan water catchment area, which is the catchment area for Pasuruan basin area, Otsuka in corporation with East Java provincial government were donating 1000 Trembesi (Saman) trees. This participation is our form of commitment for greener earth.
